Wale is back and he is hungry for his label. His recently dropped his mixtape, More About Nothing has been a front-runner in the number of downloads which accounts to more than a hundred thousand in less than 90 minutes. It is truly an ego booster for the DC rapper but he still wanted to take it back to his roots.
Wale is known for his most critically acclaimed mixtape entitled Mixtape About Nothing (2008) and an LP Attention Deficit (2009). With the release of his latest mixtape, he is trying to prove himself to all his fans, news and tutorial websites and to the doubters. He wants to define himself amidst a lot of artists who try to reinvent themselves. He added that people do not know who Wale was, but today he is introducing himself.
The mixtape includes "The MC", which he feels the strongest song that leaves the listeners the mood as if it is a live show. Wale reveals that the song defines him and that it is going to be used for a lot of years to come. Another cut from the "The Friends' n' Strangers", which talks about his personal relationship with friends in the industry and a lady years ago.
On the other hand, Trae Tha Truth is gearing up for his LP entitled Tha Truth. But before the much anticipated proper LP, he is offering a mixtape to all his fans. He just finished his latest Can't Ban Tha Truth.
